Smashing 1st Birthday for Adam

Happy 1st Birthday Adam!

Yummilicious orange white cake coloured to match colourful rainbow.
Too bad I can't get the picture of the cake slice to show-off the colourful rainbow inside.

From now on every birthday cake order will also receive a token from us, a gift pack for the lucky birthday girl/boy.
Gift pack made by Totshop

Thanks Fieza!

Pearly & Pinkish

Love love love roses... I was out of gum paste & just too lazy to make some on my own from scratch but lucky me cmc & fondant works but I bet if the weather becomes really humid the flowers surely will droop. Gum paste is always the best for making sugar flowers.

It is not easy to get the sharp edges around the top part of the cake with the kind of weather we have in Malaysia. One can only try one's best. This the best one I got if compared to my other cakes I have done so far.

It is not easy either to stick the roses on the cake, especially at the sides... I pray really hard that my cake inside would not crumble while I pressed on really hard.

With the ribbons, covering imperfection at the bottom was easy.
Glad and love to hear the newly wed couple love this cake I made for them.
If I'm not wrong it was three tier of my moist vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream, this time around I didn't add any filling in between the layers of cakes.

Oh and I really love the new veining mat I bought...was it Impression or SK? Couldn't remember it right now... but it really makes my roses looks real close up.

Cheers hope you all like my creations.
Thanks for dropping by.

Romantic Green?

A last minute design change, hence the faux roses.
Didn't have time to take pictures at home.
After finish assembling it we went straight to the venue of the event to deliver it.
The cakes are as usual just my normal moist vanilla buttercake
with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

I only got this one best picture to share.
The middle tier moved a little bit during the drive to the venue and a couple of faux roses fell off.
We also almost got lost, it was night and wasn't that familiar with the area.
So we were late but we were not last to arrive. The hall was already full with people.
Luckily cutting the cake part was the last part of the event.
Happy and bless marriage to the newly wed couple!

White pearl

 Another wedding at Duchess Place.
Many happy wishes to the lucky couple.

Yes three tiers of real cakes.
Just my standard moist vanilla buttercake with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

Since our boss a.k.a cameraman forgotten to bring his DSLR along that night we could not share any pictures of the cake at the real setup on stage... huhuhu... sigh, too bad!

But there is still hope, if Mr Afdzal could share his photo with me... hehehe... don't know whether he even know I have a blog... now is a good reason to let him know.

Anyway, I'm lucky CMC & fondant works for me.
Love the end result. Hope some of you could give some comments... thanks!
